Terms of use (DRAFT)
Last updated: [date]
We have tried to write these terms in plain language. By using the Insurance Wallet app, you agree to these terms.
1. What Insurance Wallet is
Insurance Wallet is a mobile app where you can add your insurance contracts and warranties. The app reads the key information from your documents, keeps it in one place and reminds you of important dates.
The service is provided by [Ettevõtte nimi, registrikood] (“we”).
2. Information, not insurance advice
- Summaries and other information in the app are based on the documents you upload yourself. They are information, not insurance advice.
- We are not an insurer, insurance broker or insurance agent.
- We do not sell insurance, compare insurers or make offers.
- Decisions about your insurance are yours. If needed, contact your insurer or a licensed adviser.
3. Your contract terms prevail
Fields are extracted from documents using AI and may be inaccurate or incomplete. If information in the app differs from your insurance contract, the terms of the contract always prevail.
Check important details – such as validity dates, excess and coverages – against your contract or with your insurer.
4. Your account
You create an account by signing in with Apple or Google. Keep your device and sign-in details secure. The service is available to people aged at least [X]. [Age limit to be specified.]
5. Your documents
- Only add documents you have the right to use – for example your own or your family's contracts.
- Your documents remain yours. You allow us to process them only to provide the service.
- The privacy policy describes how we process data.
6. Reminders and “Something happened”
Reminders are a convenience. They are based on dates extracted from your documents and may not always arrive, for example if notifications are turned off on your device. You remain responsible for meeting deadlines.
“Something happened” shows your insurer's contacts, your excess and a general checklist based on your contract. When reporting a claim, follow your insurer's instructions. In an emergency, call 112.
7. Price
Insurance Wallet is free for users. If we add paid options in the future, we will announce them in good time and they will be optional.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use the service for unlawful purposes, try to disrupt it or try to access other users' data.
9. Liability
We do our best to keep the service working well and the information accurate, but we cannot guarantee it. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss resulting from relying on summaries or reminders in the app. This does not limit your statutory consumer rights.
10. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app settings. We delete your data within 30 days. We may close an account in case of a material breach of these terms.
11. Changes and governing law
We may change these terms. We will announce significant changes before they take effect. These terms are governed by Estonian law.
